€€€€ In A Hotel, Fine Dining, Elegant
"One of the few fine dining options in Carcassone."

The castle area of Carcassone, is located between Toulouse & Narbonne. A R&C establishment nearby, is the hotel Domain D' Auriac. This restaurant is situated there and is one of the few, fine dining options available. During the summer nights, you can sit in its gorgeous terrace and it is really a magnificent French ambience.

Amusement bouche was not very exciting on the first day of our visit. A mousse and a spicy fish soup (not a good idea for summer) were not that thrilling.

The appetizers nevertheless were excellent. The snail fricassee which was the starter was the highlight of the evening; fresh and exciting, with mouthwatering foie gras and local giroles. Crab and lobster dishes were amazing on both nights...
