Offering a value lunch of €30, Trattoria del Vapore is a good option for an authentic Italian experience. It was a full pack Monday on the day of the visit, mostly Italians who gave a vibrant ambience to the small restaurant.
We had the traditional Perch and Rice, beef with Porchini and ravioli staffed with fish. With the exception of a side dish polenta which smelled like heavily burnt, the rest of the food was delicious. (There was a choice of any two items from the menu plus dessert and coffee for €30).
Service was adequate especially considering that only 2 people served the entire restaurant.
