We are planning to visit Italy for 2 whole weeks this Summer. Which cities do you recommend visiting?
Brunopierre187, there are so many areas that you can include in your trip to Italy depending on what interests you. You could go mainstream and do Rome, Milan, Naples for shopping, architecture, nightlife, food etc. Or you could do the Tuscany area by visiting Florence (Firenze), Pisa (you probably know the leaning tower), Sienna and all the wine villages such as Montepulciano famous for Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Montalcino famous for Brunello di Montalcino, and Chianti. You could also do the Italian Riviera with the gorgeous Amalfi Coast and combine it with a one day trip to the cosmopolitan island of Capri. Speaking of gorgeous, the famous Portofino is also one option if you are nearby. There is also Lake Como, which is a nostalgic yet amazing area.
