Located on the foothills of Athens most famous attraction, the Parthenon, Electra Palace is a classic 5* choice. It benefits from an excellent location in the buzzy area of “Plaka” and near the “Syntagma” area.
On the day of the visit we were given a spacious and comfortable room. The furniture and the fixtures made for a classic décor, rather dated. Basic amenities for 5* were available in the room and bathroom. The plastic/fabric curtain in the bathroom nevertheless, was unacceptable for a hotel in this category.
Breakfast was ok although service was hard to get during service hour...
