"Chateaux St Girleg is not an average hotel. It is an estate."

The property itself is a thing to do. An outdoor sculpture park, a famous spa, a wonderful natura location, restaurants, wow! It is a resort for the well-off Dutch people and a world class SPA destination.

Its grounds are breathtaking and peaceful. Ideal for biking and wonderful walks in the heart of nature and alongside the river stream.

We wanted to visit this establishment so badly, that when a room was not available, we took a one bedroom apartment instead. However, apartment rooms are ground floor with windows to the back yard, and no air-condition which is a problem if it is 30-35 degrees. So make sure you get that straight before booking. Furnishings in the appartment appeared dated to put it modestly...
