€€€ PPPP: €44 German, Cosy
"Cozy environment, friendly service, locals and good food."

The cozy environment of this small warm place, Marjellchen restaurant, was full of local people on the day of the visit. A friendly and attentive couple of waitresses, one of whom appeared to be the owner, handled service very well.

The deer as a starter was amazing. Could make a meat lover out of everyone. The salmon with honey was also a good choice, properly cooked.

For mains, Marjellchen offered 3 kinds of sausage and a so called cheese meat and pork knuckle, with potatoes and a salad of white cabbage, both delicious and satisfying options. For deserts, tipsy prunes marinated with red wine and brandy, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream‏ were also very interesting. Bill came to a modest €87 for two.
