Varoulko seaside is a fish restaurant owned by the famous Greek chef Lazarou. It is located near the sea on a small port approximately a 10 minute drive from Athens center.
On the day of the visit, a Thursday lunch service in August, there were only a couple of guests in this Michelin establishment. We ordered from the a la carte the pesto squid, taramas, fish of the day, shrimps with red sauce and.
Fish was as fresh as it gets, dishes were creative and presentation was also at the Michelin level. We loved everything we tried and would gladly return for more.
Service was professional and the advice of our waiter with the dishes was spot on.
