Situated within the small village of Saint Martin de Belleville, La Bouitte is a refined, 3star establishment. Sant Martin is a snow / ski village so La Bouitte is a seasonal hotel meaning it is not open all year round. Its ambience is warm and cosy with plenty of old wood and antique furnishings.
The premises also house a small, 5star Savoie type of hotel; more like Chalet.
On the night of the visit we had the 5-course surprise menu for €209. The cheapest option was €149 for 3 courses. Cheese not included. Yes it is very expensive!
The surprise menu included vegetables, fish, frog legs and sweetbreads. If there is something you don’t like, better say it beforehand because although these selections are classic French dishes, a lot of people are not big fans of frof legs and sweetbreads.
As expected everything was properly prepared with the finest of ingredients for this highest level of gastronomy...
