"Mosaics, gold and marble in the interior add a glorious feeling."

This Roman Catholic church is really old as it dates back to the 9^th century. Many German Kings and Queens were crowned in Aachen's Cathedral, as well as being the resting place for Charlemagne. There is nothing modest about this structure. Mosaics, gold and marble in the interior add a glorious feeling. It is considered occidental architecture and if you take a tour you can learn all about this new UNESCO World Heritage site.
