"Old manuscripts, tapestries, furniture, music instruments, silverware etc."

The 15th century palace of the Lords of Gruuthuse, a local rich family, is located next to the Cathedral of Our Lady and is transformed into a museum for lace, tapestries, some paintings, furniture, musical instruments, silverware, pewter, pottery and weapons from the 13th to the 19th century. Also, don't forget to check out the fireplace. And check before going if it's open, since a renovation is scheduled for 2013 and keep in mind that everything is labeled in Flemish.
