Horse wagon rides
"It's like the movies. But be prepared to pay €40 plus tip."

Bruges Horse Carriages is a good experience in a perfect setting, but it is kind of expensive for 2. The half-hour carriage ride (including a 10 minute break for the horses) along Bruges’ historic streets, starts on Markt where you can see all the carriages lined up and ready to go. On Wednesdays they are at Burg.

It costs around €40 plus tip per carriage, but maybe you can find someone to share it, since a carriage seats up to 5 people.

Remember to take your jacket as it gets cold up there. So sit back and watch the world go by. The driver offers some commentary but sometimes it is hard to hear, due to the street noise.

Make sure you ask how much time is the break so that you get off and take a small stroll. If the money is too much for you, take a Bruges canal boat tour, an equally nice experience.
