"The facade features a scene with Apollo on his chariot and his Muses."

Situated between the cathedral and the Belfry in the heart of Ghent, the Royal Dutch Theater houses classic and contemporary plays.

The painted tympanum on the facade by Constant Montald, features an allegorical scene with Apollo on his chariot and his Muses, while the interior is decorated in Neo-Renaissance style.

If you happen to catch a play there, you can go to its terrace for some nice views of Sint-Baafsplein.
