"Hydro geologically speaking, it is a spectacular thing to watch."

The spring from which Sorgue River is formed, ranks number one in France and number five in the world. There is water that you can see, such as the river and springs, and water you can not see, which is the underground network of waters.

Distinguished by its light green hues, the area water which is 300 meter deep, is the main attraction for tourists who even take canoeing in the Sorgue river. There are also water mills and sea caves/grotes in the Fontaine-de-Vaucluse area.

The river is in silent mode during the summer, but during the winter it gets wilder. Hydro geologically speaking it is a spectacular thing to watch.
