"Historic arena venue for hosting bull shows in the summer."

Arles Amphitheatre, the small Colosseum type amphitheater, sits in the heart of Arles and is one of the major landmarks in the area. Besides its historical value, it is an arena venue hosting bull shows, which are bloodless Spanish style corridas, attracting a lot of tourists in the summer.

Other events hosted there include the Festival of the Guardians of the Camargue.
