"Covered in traditional red brick, this is Helsingør’s cathedral."

The detailed arches seen from the adjacent pedestrian street, invite visitors in the Baroque style interior of the Helsingør Cathedral, where the frescoes, the pulpit, the baptistery and the altarpiece stand proudly for some centuries now.

The building of the Helsingør Cathedral begun around 1200 and it was completed along with its 68 meter tower, in 1559. Concerts are also hosted occasionally if you are into them. Bach was one of its visitors, who came to listen to Buxtheude! So is told.
