The hotel is new and modern with eclectic design elements throughout the whole building.
The room had a modern dark color design, it was spacious and clean. The Air Condition worked fine throughout the night (as this seems to be an issue in some hotels in Rome because some hotels turn it off after certain hours). There was also free Wi-Fi.
Breakfast buffet had less items compared to other 4-stars in Rome. The elevator was striking, with ultra High-Tec appearance and buttons.
Consider that Hotel Metropolis is a bit far off the center and near a residential area and you will need a taxi for most of your moving around especially at night, unless you want to use the underground station nearby...
