"It has the most privileged location of them all!"

Le diamond Noir is the restaurant inside the Koh i Nor ski hotel. Sitting on the top of the Val Thorens ski resort area, it has the most privileged location of them all with spectacular views (not for the faint hearted)!

Priced for its view and surroundings, this is a fairly new hotel and restaurant with modern furniture and lushing decor.

On the day of the visit, we had a steak tartar, foie in a pot, tagliatelle and risotto. With the exception of the foie the rest were ok.

Service was almost average. A towel which was dropped accidentally on the floor, was placed back on our chair by the waitess to be reused!

Tip: Our GPS could not locate it, so make sure you got the address handy. The hotel helped us with valet parking.
