La Paranza is a local fish restaurant not situated in the main street of Santa Margherita Ligure.
On the day of the visit we walked in without a reservation and they gave us a table.
We ordered fish pasta (mandatory 2 portions), fish in the oven, grilled shrimp with tartar sauce and 2 sea urchins.
There was a distinct difference in the quality of the food compared to the rest of the touristic venues in the area. At least when the food is good quality you don't mind (so much) paying the overpriced bill!
