Hidden inside an alley just off the main Santa Margherita main street, Reve Cafe & Restaurant was our best bet for a great fish meal without the ridiculous tourist prices.
On the day of the visit we had tuna tartar, prawn tartar, salmon ceviche, grilled local fish (amberjack) and ravioli with beef ragout. We loved everything. And we would return for the freshness, the generous portions, the value for money pricing and the authentic Italian taste.
Make sure you book. More than a dozen walk-ins left disappointed.
