L’Antica Trattoria is a casual restaurant near the centre of Como, not on the pedestrian area. It is mentioned in the Michelin catalogue and is more like a steakhouse trattoria.
We had to drive a while before we were lucky enough to find parking in the adjacent streets.
On the day of the visit, a Tuesday night dinner, October 22, we had a few items from the menu such as scambi, pasta and a couple of meat cuts. The food was well prepared while the meats were cooked on an open wooden fire. There wasn't anything fancy or complicated with the food preparations but it was a good option for dinner.
Prices were reasonable for the area and the cover charge was €5 per person.
