The ancient ruins of the villa's foundation are well preserved and visible through a glass floor. The rest of the villa features mosaics, polychrome floors, paving blocks and frescoes, all explained in a multimedia presentation. Through the virtual tour, curated by a team of experts, visitors can explore what the inside of the villa looked like, its walls, rooms, peristyles, kitchens, baths, furnishings and decorations.
You can find Palazzo Valentini inside the Provincia Di Roma building, a block away from Piazza Venezia. Make sure you have a reservation for your visit in advance by calling them, even if your Roma Pass covers the fee.
Since part of the touring takes place underground (and in darker spaces), it may not be suitable for people with mobility or sight issues.
