"Focus is on decorative arts and design."

Focus is on decorative arts and design at the Victoria and Albert museum, which houses 4.5 million items. It dates back to 1852 and took its name not by a couple of sponsors but by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.

It covers art spanning over 5 millenniums from all over the world.

The Victoria and Albert museum collection includes ceramics and metalwork from East Asia, glass, textiles, fashion and the late Princess’s Di dresses, costumes, silver, jewelry, furniture, medieval objects, sculptures from the Italian Renaissance, prints and printmaking, drawings and photographs.

The Victoria and Albert museum building is magnificent and it has free entrance, so it is definitely a must for London visitors.
