Interesting streets, Interesting shops, Interesting areas
"A noteworthy part of British pop culture & subculture."

Camden is more than a group of street vendors. It is a noteworthy part of British pop culture and subculture. It started in 1974 and emerged as a booming business area with shops and stalls. The area is commercialized with crafts, clothing, leather goods, souvenirs and food venues (especially Chinese food).

This colorful fabric attracts around 100,000 visitors every weekend. It is much easier to navigate the fun and funky Camden scene during weekdays, without bumping onto other people, who by the way may be part of a wide variety of British alternative subcultures such as punk, gothic and emo.
