"French Renaissance church that crowns the famous Spanish steps."

The French Renaissance church that crowns the famous Spanish steps, dates back to the 15^th century. The Renaissance frescoed paintings adorning the ceiling of Trinita dei Monti are the works of Andrea Pozzo, who did a few churches in Rome. Both the church and the adjoining Villa Medici are French property, recently entrusted to the Monastic Fraternities of Jerusalem.
