"French Renaissance church that crowns the famous Spanish steps."

The French Renaissance church that crowns the famous Spanish steps, dates back to the 15th century. The Renaissance frescoed paintings adorning the ceiling of Trinita dei Monti are the works of Andrea Pozzo, who did a few churches in Rome. Both the church and the adjoining Villa Medici are French property, recently entrusted to the Monastic Fraternities of Jerusalem.
