Beaches
"One of those beaches where you may be able to see a boat's shadow in water."

Situated close to the renowned Portofino, this little bay with an abbey can only be reached by foot through a steep path or by boat through Camogli or Santa Margherita. Abbazia di San Fruttuoso Bay is one of those beaches where you may be able to see the shadow of a boat in the bottom of the sea.

There are some restaurants which, as expected, charge a lot for their unique location.

Although it is hard to reach, San Fruttuoso Bay is no secret location, so don't expect to find an isolation. There are a lot of tourists during high season but still it is worth the effort to get there.

The abbey is the parish seat of the Vicariate dedicated to San Fruttuoso of Tarragona.
