Comerc 24 is a young, funky restaurant located in the heart of Barcelona.
It is simply and unimpressively decorated with turning chairs, modern black and white photographs and bright yellow colors. The premises are divided into a bar, a tapas area and a restaurant section. The kitchen is exposed with an open plan space. There's a striking abundance of bright yellow colors giving the room a joyful atmosphere.
On the night of the visit, the waiter approached us and talking in a loud tone he explained how the menu works and how we can meet with the chef and make a customized menu. Problem was, since he was talking very loudly and the tables were really close to each other, we heard exactly the same words six more times. It sounded like a rehearsed poem!
We ordered the long degustation and a bottle of inexpensive champagne and the show started. The waiter brought us a tray of 4 different olive oils from different regions and fresh bread...
