Tapeo is the case where you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. A confused interior décor does not fit the rest of the traditional rustic tapas fabric in the area.
There are no large plates with good looking food on the counter, which means no tourist magnets, even though it ranks on top of reviewers choice list. So what is going on in there?
On the day of the visit, its Foie Gras burger with sauce, on a delicate bun, was so tender and juicy that one was not enough and we had to order a second. The honey glazed pork ribs were also a good choice.
Some other choices such as the beef skirt and salmon potato salad were not so special nevertheless.
Service was friendly and welcoming speaking good English for a change.
